The Red Bud High School community came together last night for the annual Fall Sports Preview, an evening filled with school spirit, exciting scrimmages, and a celebration of our Musketeer athletes.
The night kicked off with a volleyball scrimmage inside the gym, followed by a spirited matchup featuring the Muskets. On the field, fans were introduced to this year’s volleyball, cheerleading, boys and girls golf, cross country, football, and band teams before the RBHS football team scrimmaged against the Waterloo Bulldogs.
Admission for the event was a donation of water or Gatorade, with all items going directly to support RBHS teams throughout the season.
A highlight of the evening came in between games, when the Red Bud Musketeer Booster Association presented a check to Athletic Director Dane Walter and RBHS coaches. In just their first year, the Boosters proudly raised over $54,000 to support student-athletes and school programs—an incredible milestone made possible by the generosity and dedication of parents, community members, and local businesses.
The event was not only a showcase of the talent and hard work of RBHS students but also a reminder of the strength of the Musketeer community. With such an exciting start to the season, the Boosters look forward to continuing their mission of supporting all student-athletes and fostering school pride.
Go Musketeers!
