Red Bud High School officially kicked off the fall sports season with the 2026 Fall Sports Preview Night, bringing Musketeer athletes, coaches, families, and fans together for an evening of school spirit and celebration.

With most of the evening’s activities moved indoors, the night began with a volleyball scrimmage followed by performances from the RBHS Cheer Camp participants. Fans were then introduced to the student-athletes and coaches representing this fall’s volleyball, cross country, boys and girls golf, cheerleading, and football teams.

One of the highlights of the evening came when the Red Bud Musketeer Booster Association presented RBHS Athletic Director Dane Walter and the school’s athletic programs with a check for $53,770.

The contribution represents approximately $190 for every RBHS student-athlete and continues the Boosters’ mission of providing meaningful financial support to Musketeer athletics. The organization hopes to continue growing its fundraising efforts with a goal of reaching $200 per athlete.

The $53,770 was made possible through the tremendous support of Booster sponsors, members, volunteers, local businesses, and the Red Bud community. Every sponsorship, fundraiser, donation, and volunteer hour helps provide additional resources and opportunities for RBHS student-athletes.

Following the indoor festivities, everyone headed outside as the football program took the field for JV and varsity Maroon and White scrimmages, giving Musketeer fans their first look at the teams before the start of the regular season.

The Fall Sports Preview was a great way to celebrate the beginning of another year of RBHS athletics and recognize the students, coaches, families, and community members who make Musketeer athletics special.
